crafty wee things

This month seems to have flown by but R and I have been busy being crafty!  Her granny was over and had the great idea of doing some leaf rubbing.

Nearly a month!

I can't believe it is nearly a month since I last blogged!  I have been having lots of visitors and the house has been demanding lots of attention.  (more about that soon)  We had a lovely holiday at the end of September.  We spent the week of the heatwave in Kelso, visiting loads of places and having a bit of R&R.

Meandering

On Sunday after a very soggy Saturday, the clouds parted and I took the opportunity to take the kids for a walk before we all went daft!

 I intended on looking for nice Autumny things for R to collect, conkers, acorns and pine cones but the path I chose was a bit sparse.  Instead we walked along an old wall and found loads to keep her happy.

Fabric Shopping! ;-)

 While R was at nursery today, KP and I set off to town.  I'm not sure how much she enjoyed it but I had a great time.  It's ages since I bought anything for myself so went to town today with a jacket, jumpers and tops.  I also paid a trip to the Cotton Print Factory Shop - I could have spent a fortune there!  I'm in the process of making curtains for the whole house (we have none at the moment) so was just in for a browse, but you can never just browse can you?
