This month seems to have flown by but R and I have been busy being crafty! Her granny was over and had the great idea of doing some leaf rubbing.
I thought it would be a bit tricky for a 3 year old, but she did really well, some of the most effective ones were where she used 2 different crayons on the same leaf. Her favourites were the ferns because you could see the seeds on them really clearly. A nice autumnal garland.
The board underneath was one that she created the week we moved into the house. She was busy painting while we tried to make sense of all the boxes. We came into the room and found her painting her feet, so decided to let her do some prints on a bit of wood. She added hand prints and then coloured in the edge with crayons. Very artistic and nice to have as a reminder.
We decided to get organised for Christmas and R and I made some robin cards.
The pieces came as a kit and we glued them together. A nice few afternoons while KP slept. I was taking these snaps and then thought I should line them up on the floor stripes (we used reclaimed gym flooring for our wee house and haven't sanded them clean yet)
They look like they're hanging out on a fence ;-) So these cards will be winging their way (pardon the pun, couldn't resist) to friends and family soon. We decided that they needed some glitter, so need to search through all the unpacked boxes to find some. More crafty bits soon....ttfn
