Hi there, well, time to start my new blog, where to start and what to say!

I'm a stay at home mum to 2 wee girls.  I like crafting, cooking (baking, jams, drinks and sweets - none of your nutritious nonsense) and plan to have a great garden next year bursting with tasty treats.   This year we have mostly been growing weeds and large rocks.  My girls both love being outside and I love showing them the natural world about them and thought it might be nice to share this love with others and try to put some photos up of various things to look out for.

We stay fairly near Glasgow so have a nice mix of city and countryside to explore.  You sometimes see more wildlife in the city than here in the sticks.

So lets hope this blogging thing works out, someone takes an interest and I'm not just sitting here talking to myself ;-)
